Kurama, the Nine-Tailed Fox is a beast that has resided in Naruto since the day he was born. We were introduced to him way back in the series when Naruto was just a kid in the leaf village. He is one of the nine Tailed Beasts created by Hagoromo Otsutsuki, the Sage of Six Paths.
Centuries of being regarded as a mindless monster and sought after as a tool for war caused Kurama to hate humans. This is demonstrated by his cynical nature towards Naruto and his constant attempts to exert control over him, all in order to cause destruction and harm to others.
Fighting Naruto made him realize that not all humans are the same, and hence, he developed a bond of respect and trust with Naruto. This allowed Naruto to use Kurama’s power to its maximum potential.
For fans of the Tailed Beasts, what’s better than a Kurama tattoo? Today I have a list of the best Kurama tattoos that you can get.
Kurama - Beast of Hatred
Artist: Ray Vazquez
This is a representation of Kurama’s initial nature and attitude towards Naruto. The artist has done a wonderful job of capturing the essence of anger, distrust, and hatred in this tattoo. We can clearly see the debris flying and the spirit coiling around Naruto to take control and let loose.
The attention to detail is just beautiful and shows the artist's love and respect for the character and the series as a whole. If you’re a fan of the Nine Tails and want a tattoo, this can be your next one.
Kurama - Growling
Artist: Misael Martinez
Kurama is angry at someone or something here. He’s got his paw ready and will attack at the slightest hint of threat or danger. This tailed beast is not something to be messed with or taken lightly. He’ll tear you apart and will enjoy doing so. Just look at him, tell me you won't run away at the first sight of this thing.
The tattoo is black and white but the artist added beauty to it by coloring the eyes red. This shows rage and how much of a threat Kurama is. Further detailing such as the Akatsuki-styled clouds are just a cherry on top.
Young Kurama - Baby Style
Artist: Sara Pelletier
I was thinking there should be a cute and loving kind of tattoo for you. So here it is, a young Kurama when he was just created along with the other Tailed Beasts. This one has a really soft tone color which looks beautiful.
If you want to have a representation of love, cuteness and everything that is wholesome get this tattoo.
Kurama - Seal Tear
Artist: Bronson Coddington
I have another colored one for you guys. But this one is a bit special because of its highly detailed-effects art style used by the artist. The essence of danger is still present but this time with a violent tone. Every detail is captured with love and care as seen in the tattoo, especially the eyes. We can clearly see the Sharingan and Rinnegan.
If you’re looking for something with a bit of a “Beast Mode Vibe” this can be a great option. Also if you’re someone who lifts, I am sure it’ll suit you better.
Kurama - Ultimate Beast Bomb
Artist: Micheal Randazzo
It’s always a good idea to save the best for the last and that’s exactly what I did because this one here is just epic. Kurama is about to obliterate someone with his “Ultimate Beast Bomb”, an attack so powerful that it can change the geography of an area. An expression of “This is the end for you” has been captured excellently by the artist.
Here the colors pop vividly and bring this moment to life via tattoo. The contrast and detailing portrayed by the artist are just exotic. This tattoo is for those of you who want something a bit aggressive along with being beautiful.
