Madara Uchiha was a name that sent shivers down the spine of any shinobi who was alive during his time. A symbol of God level power, threat, and devastation in the Naruto anime. Whether it be in his prime or reincarnated, his mere presence made Shinobi realize that it's useless to clash with the strongest of the Uchihas.
We’ve all heard and remember some of his most iconic quotes. My favorite is “Power is not will, it is the phenomenon of physically making things happen.” What a strong statement from the strongest Uchiha. Today we’ll be sharing our ideas for the best Madara tattoos that you can get as an anime fan or someone with respect for this legend.
Madara - Infinite Tsukuyomi
Artist: Serena Armstrong
First up on our list is Madara Uchiha with his legendary “Infinite Tsukuyomi”, which was basically his whole plan in the series. To project his Rinne-Sharingan all over the world using the moon and causing a permanent dream state for everyone where they’d lead normal and happy lives forever. Only for the sake of peace did he plan this because he was tired of all the suffering and wars waged by the people.
This tattoo is an exact representation of the moment when Infinite Tsukuyomi was cast. Here we can clearly see the hand seal made by Madara, his Rinnegan, and the Rinne-Sharingan on the moon. The detailing is just exquisite in this tattoo and the colors mix well in contrast with each other. If you’re looking for a tattoo that can represent Madara and his final plan for the world, this might be the one for you.
Madara - Great Ninja War
Artist: Satoru Ink
Next up on our list, we have Madara Uchiha from the Great Ninja War when he was first reincarnated. The tattoo here shows us exactly how he looked in the anime. With his long hair, visible Sharingan, and battle armor that he used to wear. But you gotta notice the black sclera which represents him being reincarnated and not actually alive.
With proper detailing using stipple shading, the artist has captured this moment with finesse.
Madara - Perfect Susanoo
Artist: Marcus Ottner
Moving on we have Madara with his Perfect Susanoo. This is when he fought against the five Kage and single-handedly showed them just how strong he really is. One versus five, just think about it. He was able to overcome each and every one of the five Kage with his sheer strength. This is when he asked the Kage “Would you like these clones to use Susanoo or not?” to exert his dominance.
We can see Madara with a serious grin here as he stands above us with his Susanoo, ready for battle. The red and blue of the Susanoo go really well with the black hair and purple Rinnegan.
Madara - Battle Torn
Artist: Dave Vero
Continuing our list we have a battle-damaged and torn Madara. This is when he fought relentlessly in the Great Ninja War and took some serious hits from various opponents. This caused his armor to break, revealing the infusion of Hashirama’s cells which extended his life to a great degree.
Even after taking such damage, his expression remains the same cold and serious as ever. The artist really took his time with this one as it’s the most detailed one on our list. His seriousness demands attention and you will get it too if you get this tattoo.
Madara - Prime (Rinnegan)
Artist: Satoru Ink
Last but certainly not least, we have Madara Uchiha in his prime. Back when he was alive and at full strength without needing any Jutsu to increase his strength and endurance. His mastery over the Sharingan in his lifetime made him one of the strongest members of the Uchiha clan. He just wanted peace in his prime and even went as far as to plan his reincarnation just to attain peace via the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
Here in his prime, the artist has shown us Madara with Rinnegan eyes instead of the Sharingan which is canon. He is ready to unleash a fire-style Jutsu as seen by the hand seal. The Uchiha symbol is on full display here. His expression is a serious one like always.
