If you've been around the Anime block for a while, you know that even though Naruto wrapped up some time ago, the love for its characters is still going strong.

I've already made this list for my favorite Naruto character, Itachi (who topped charts in Japan and globally – no big surprise there). And now, it's time to shine the spotlight on the runner-up – Kakashi Hatake.

Kakashi isn’t just your average shinobi. Sure, he's got the skills and the talent, but there's so much more to him. Kakashi's got a backstory that'll tug at your heartstrings and a personality that's as complex as they come.

Today, I'd like to showcase some of the coolest Kakashi tattoos I've found online. These designs are as badass as the man himself, and I'm excited to share them with you.

Kakashi Reading Book

Kakashi reading adult book is an amazing tattoo idea
Artist: Michael Randazzo

We all know Kakashi's got a soft spot for a good read, especially when it comes to Jiraiya's... ahem... literary masterpieces. Yep, you guessed it – we're talking about the legendary "Make-out Tactics" series. And boy, does Kakashi get into it. The tattoo shows our stoic ninja with a blush on his cheeks and hearts in his eyes, totally lost in the world of... uh, strategic maneuvering.

Now take a closer look at the cover of that book Kakashi's so engrossed in. Yep, you're seeing it right – it's none other than Bulma. Talk about a crossover we never knew we needed. Dragonball fans, rejoice – this is one book you won't want to put down.

Kidkashi

Kakashi as a child tattoo
Artist: Jaume Prieto Jiménez

We all know Kakashi's a force to be reckoned with, even from a young age. This tattoo gives us a glimpse into his childhood, showcasing little Kakashi with that unmistakable red Sharingan eye. At just five years old, Kakashi was already making waves in the ninja world, graduating at the top of his class and becoming a Genin. And that was before he even had the Sharingan!

Despite the challenges he faced growing up, Kakashi never lost sight of his dreams. He went on to become one of the most legendary ninjas of all time, even achieving the prestigious title of Hokage. Now that's what I call a success story.

Obito and Kakashi

Artist: Sebastian Olivares

In any Shonen anime, friendships and rivalries are the threads that weave together unforgettable stories. While Naruto and Sasuke's tumultuous relationship often takes center stage, it's important to remember the profound impact of another rivalry – that between Kakashi Hatake and his teammate, Obito Uchiha.

This tattoo, skillfully crafted by Sebastian Olivares, immortalizes a pivotal moment in Naruto lore – the awakening of the Mangekyo Sharingan by Kakashi and Obito. This scene lifted straight from the manga panels, stands as one of the most emotionally charged and significant in the entire franchise.

Chidori and Susanoo

Fully colored tattoo of kakashi using chidori and susanoo
Artist: Kolebee Toad

This stunning tattoo features the legendary ninja Kakashi, brandishing his two most formidable weapons - the powerful Chidori lightning jutsu that he invented, and the awe-inspiring Susanoo.

Following the climactic events of the Fourth Great Ninja War, Kakashi was granted the Mangekyo Sharingan by his comrade Obito, as well as his remaining Six Paths chakra. With these two incredible powers at his disposal, Kakashi was able to awaken his Full-Body Susanoo, a fearsome and formidable force capable of even taking on the godlike Kaguya Otsutsuki. This tattoo is a true masterpiece, capturing the essence of Kakashi's power and skill in all its glory.

Anbu

Kakashi anbu tattoo shows him in pain
Artist: Kenneth Smith

This tattoo showcases Kakashi's contrasting sides – the ruthless Anbu operative and the emotionally scarred shinobi. The design is split into two sections – A side profile with the Anbu Mask and a close-up of his Sharingan without the mask with tears rolling down his cheek. The Anbu Mask represents the darkness and secrecy Kakashi embraced during his Anbu days and the tears signify the pain and loss he endured.
